Who we are
HealthAgencies.co.uk is a trading name of Velsta Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16036737, registered office Unit 9 City Mews, Ilford, Essex, IG6 2FQ, England. When these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, they mean Velsta Limited. You can reach us at hello@healthagencies.co.uk.
By using the site you agree to these terms. Our privacy notice and cookies page explain how we handle personal data.
What the site is
HealthAgencies.co.uk compares UK healthcare recruitment agencies. We test every agency the same way and publish rankings, profiles and the jobs they advertise. Job seekers can apply for jobs and be matched with agencies; organisations can find agencies that fit what they need; agencies can manage their own information.
We’re not a recruitment agency. We don’t employ anyone, supply staff, or take part in placements. When you apply for a job or ask an agency for staff, the arrangement is between you and that agency, under its own terms.
Sharing your details with agencies
The site exists to connect people looking for healthcare work, and organisations looking for staff, with agencies. So by using it to apply for a job, upload a CV, fill in a profile or ask for staff, you agree that HealthAgencies.co.uk may share your details (and your CV, if you give us one) with any agency listed on the site, to help you. Each of those forms says so where you send it.
- We pass details on ourselves, by hand. Nothing is sent to an agency automatically, and agencies can't search for you.
- An agency that gets your details may contact you directly, and is responsible for them under its own privacy notice.
- You can object at any time by emailing hello@healthagencies.co.uk, and a job seeker can delete their account in their settings. Details already passed on stay with the agency.
- Job alerts and our tips emails are separate: you choose them, and you can stop them at any time.
Our privacy notice explains what we keep and why.
Our rankings
- Independent. Agencies can’t pay to be ranked, to rank higher, or to change what we say about them. Every agency is tested with the same method; how we rank explains the main factors and their relative importance.
- Opinion based on evidence, not advice. Rankings are our assessment from the evidence our tests can see at the time. They aren’t a recommendation to use or avoid any agency, and they can’t tell you how an agency will treat you. Check an agency for yourself, including its registration and references, before you rely on it.
- As accurate as we can make them. Information comes from agencies’ own websites, official registers and other public sources, and can be out of date or wrong. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we’ll check it and correct it.
- Google ratings are shown as Google provides them and are never part of our ranking.
If you’re looking for work
- Give accurate details, and only apply for jobs you’re interested in. Don’t create an account for someone else.
- Job adverts are the agencies’ own. We check where they come from but can’t guarantee a job is still open, its pay, or that an agency will reply.
- We pass your application to that agency, and may pass your details to other agencies that fit (see sharing). Each agency decides what happens next.
- You can delete your account at any time in your account settings.
If you’re finding an agency for your organisation
- Use a real name and your organisation’s details, and only ask for staff you actually need.
- Your matches follow our published ranked order. Any arrangement with an agency is between your organisation and that agency; we aren’t a party to it and don’t check frameworks, rates or compliance for you.
If you work at an agency
- Verifying. Only verify for an agency you work at, with your own work email. Anyone at your agency with an email on its domain can join its team; a teammate can remove someone who has left.
- What you send us. Facts, logos, job feeds, corrections and disputes must be accurate and yours to share. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish them on the site and to use them in our tests. We can check anything you send against official records, and refuse or remove it.
- Your ranking. Verifying, sending information or using our badges never buys a better ranking. Changes go through the same tests as everyone else’s.
- Badges. You may show the badges in your account on your website and emails, linked to your page with us, as long as you don’t change them or suggest an endorsement we haven’t given. They update themselves, so they always show your current result. We can withdraw them if they’re misused.
- Candidates and organisations we pass to you. We pass them on by hand; you receive their details as a separate controller, to help that person find work or that organisation find staff, and for nothing else. Treat them under data protection law and your own privacy notice, reply promptly, and don’t add them to marketing lists or pass them on.
- Your account. Keep access to your work email secure. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms.
Using the site and our data
You’re welcome to read this site, share links to it and quote small parts with a link back. Search engines and AI assistants may crawl it as our robots.txt allows.
The rankings, agency profiles and job listings on this site together form a database. It is protected by database right and copyright, owned by Velsta Limited (HealthAgencies.co.uk), and was first published in 2026. Extracting or re-using all or a substantial part of it, by any means (including automated copying, scraping or bulk downloading), is not permitted without our written licence. Repeated extraction of smaller parts that adds up to a substantial part is treated the same way. To ask about a licence, email hello@healthagencies.co.uk.
Please don’t:
- try to get round our security, rate limits or bot checks, or into anyone else’s account;
- send false information, impersonate someone, or use the forms to harass anyone;
- upload anything harmful, unlawful or that you don’t have the right to share;
- use the site in a way that damages it or makes it harder for others to use.
Google Maps content
Agency profiles include Google Maps features and content: the Google rating and review count, shown by Google’s own component. Your use of that content is subject to the then-current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Our responsibility to you
The site is free to use and provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but can’t promise it will always be complete, current or uninterrupted. We’re not responsible for agencies’ jobs, decisions, conduct or websites, or for anything that happens between you and an agency.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you use the site as a consumer, your legal rights stay as they are. If you use it for a business, we’re not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for indirect loss, and our total liability to you is limited to £100.
Changes, and the law that applies
We may update these terms; the date at the top says when. If a change matters to people with accounts, we’ll tell them first. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute, though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also use your local courts.
